I got my 99' tail lights installed, they look great on my Artic White Pearl. I thought that I wanted to keep the 89-98 center panel because of the grey writing, I feel, flows better with the white, though now I am contemplating going to the 99' panel if the reverse lights match better. My center panel is in great condition and I do not notice a difference between the plastics from tails to the center panel but I do find the reverse lights have a significant difference in color between the tail lights. Aside from the chrome trim matching, are the 99' reverse lights any whiter, or is the difference between the 2 centerpanel lights the same whether it is a 89-98' spec or 99' spec?
